Press Release

Hey guys! I thought I’d drop an article off here that a local paper in Outlook, SK wrote about me. How about that??

Outlook Article

  1. Aw mom.

The photo was taken at the top of Sulfur Mountain in Banff, AB. It was a 2 hour hike straight up, and an 8 minute gondola ride down. What a view, though!

  2. Hey Joe! I am thoroughly enjoying your blog. An amazing journey. Rosetown is only an hour-ish drive from my parents’ farm, where I was visiting at the time.. Had I known you were that close I would have driven down to see you. Ride on, Joe. I’m rooting for you.

  3. Hey Joe, I’ve seen the occasional FB update from you, but I hadn’t realized you had this blog… clueless, I guess. Anyway, I just spent 20 minutes reading about your adventures, and this is fantastic! I’m glad you are able to blog about this regularly; experiences like this can be too easily forgotten if you don’t write about them and take pix. Have you ever read “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance”? I read it when I was about 19, and found it profoundly moving, but I’m not sure what I would think about it now.

Anyway, I’ll be checking back on your blog often now that I now about it!

    All best, Clark

    1. Hey Clark! Thanks for stopping by. I don’t feel like I update nearly enough to keep people interested, but I’m glad you found it entertaining. You’re right – it will be an invaluable keepsake to have. As for that book, the name rings a bell, but I don’t know much about it. I may have to look into it. Cheerio!

  4. Hey Joe. Glad to see your travels are still going well. This is Scott and Shawna who you met between Canmore and Banff on copycat bikes. Hopefully the seat cover has come in useful with these storms. We will keep an eye on your blog. Safe travels!
